Kirk Session meets tonight. Please pray for wisdom and vision in the discussions and decisions taken. |
Pray for Margaret Sterrett who will lead PW in Bible and background study of Cameroon. Pray for guidance as the vote will be taken tonight for a new Moderator |
As study continues on our Congregational Mission Plan tonight, pray for guidance for Philip and all who will attend and the Session group who will finally produce it. |
Tearfund - This is Global Poverty Prayer Week. Pray for justice, mercy and an end to poverty. Pray for change and that we may help to bring it about. |
Women’s World Day of Prayer. As women around the world join together in services written by the women of Cameroon, pray for the women of that Country. |
This is FairTrade Fortnight. During this time help us to re-evaluate how we shop and how we could help our brothers and sisters in poorer countries to make a reasonable living. |
Pray for all who will attend church today. May they hear God speaking to them through the bible or the prayers or singing. Pray for Philip as he leads worship. |

Pray for all members of our congregation who are caring for sick or elderly family members. Pray for all recovering from operations or treatment. |
Pray for Congregational Committee and Finance Committee as they meet today. Give practical wisdom and skill to maintain our church and buildings to God’s Glory. |
Pray for all the house groups. May God guide us all as we study his word and may our faith be deepened through the shared prayer and fellowship together. |
Pray for all our young people as they try to witness in their daily lives. Bless and strengthen all who have been studying for exams and give them perseverance and trust in your guidance and help. |
Prayer 24/7 As once again we set aside time for prayer may God our Father speak to each person taking part and may we be encouraged in his service. |
As the work continues in Haiti to rebuild and clear streets from rubble and debris pray for all the people who grieve the loss of family, friends, & homes. |
As we worship today give thanks for mothers, grannies, aunts and other family members who provide ‘motherly love’. Remember all those for whom today is painful. |

Pray for all the people in our area who never go to church and do not know about the saving power of Jesus Christ. Pray for our outreach in this area.

Care for the Family – Parenting Teenagers Evening tonight in Church House. Pray for wisdom for all parents of teenage children. Pray for encouragement for PW as tonight is the last night of this session. |
Pray for our Partner Church in North India (CNI) where religious anti-conversion laws are now in force. Pray that the Church in India will be faithful in its witness and bold in preaching the gospel. |
The book of Acts shows us what weak Christians joined to a Mighty God can do. Ask God to fill our lives with the power of the Holy Spirit and to use our weakness and failure to His glory. |
Open DoorsAt least 6 Christians have been killed in a series of killings in Mosul, Northern Iraq. Pray for the persecuted church in that land and many other places in the world. |
BB Display – Pray for all the leaders and boys who are involved in the annual BB Display. May they enjoy the teamwork and fellowship. |
Palm Sunday – as we worship may we focus our minds on the sacrifice Christ made for each one of us. May God bless the joint choirs as they sing special Easter music this evening. |

On this first day of Holy Week help us to prayerfully focus on Christ and his sacrifice and to spend time in worship and prayer this coming week.

Give thanks for the provision of Residential and Nursing Homes and Sheltered Housing by the Presbyterian Church. Pray for all who live and work in these homes. |
Painting GroupThank God for the talent he has given to the members of the Painting Group and may they enjoy using their gifts to bring pleasure to others. |
