PRAYER FOCUS: GUIDES

·        Pray for the leaders in Guides, Brownies and Rainbows as they seek to influence the girls under their care for good and for Christ.

·        Pray that guides would be able to help these girls in their all round development.

PRAYER FOCUS: KENYA

Gary and Mary Reid would value prayer for two of the men who have taken a stand against taking part in cultural rituals, Terere and Letasuna.  Terere and his wives were put out of the homestead, due to his stand against sinful cultural practices, but his wives were allowed back home after he went to see the chief.  However, there will be the customary procedures to go through to see if he can go back home.  Letasuna too has had problems for not following the rituals of offerings etc. which the Oloiboni would carry out.  Now one of his wives (who comes to church with him) is very ill.  Pray for all those who have taken a stand against sinful cultural practices and are attending church also for the Reid family to be given wisdom for the different circumstances, cultural situations and problems that arise.  Pray that the Reids will have success in finding a reliable landrover at a reasonable price.
