^   PRAYER FOCUS FOR THE WEEK

We will remember in our prayers the leaders of all organisations, Sunday School Teachers and Bible Class leaders, as we start back after the summer break.

^   PRAYER FOCUS: MALAWI

Stephen and Ruth McCracken have adopted a little Malawian orphan girl called, Keziah, from the Ministry of Hope’s Crisis Nursery in Lilongwe, in fact they hope to adopt two orphans and plan to travel back to Lilongwe in the next weeks to complete this.  Keziah was found abandoned about three months ago, badly malnourished and in quite poor condition.  She has come on really well in the time she has spent with the McCracken family.  She is full of life, a strong character, is happy, and loves being cuddled.  As an abandoned child, no one knows how old she is, or anything about her family.  They think that she was walking at one stage before her mother was unable to provide sufficient food for her.  She is now crawling and standing and once she gets more strength into her legs she will be walking again.  They estimate her age to be between 12 and 18 months.  Please remember Stephen and Ruth, Joshua, Emily, Namoi, Gregory and little Keziah in your prayers.
