turnout at the Congregational Meeting on Monday 28th November, but
the meeting considered that it was not yet in a position to issue a call to any
minister. We are indebted to the Presbytery
Vacancy Commission for their effort and guidance. There is much to reflect upon, but it is for
the Kirk Session and the Vacancy Commission to endeavour to move the process forward, and it is for us all to seek to know God’s will and

During the month
of December we will be taking contributions to World Development. This is a Presbyterian Church programme and it
supports projects in every continent and channels its resources through
Christian Aid and Tearfund. Projects highlighted this year are in

We wish to thank
all who have already subscribed to the fund, but would remind others who have
not subscribed that donations may be made up to and including Sunday 18th
December.

to mark her retirement from the leadership of our Brownie Pack. Pauline has been part of the Brownies for
over 27 years and has been Brown Owl since 2000, she has loved her time in Brownies

machines, and assembling complete sewing kits so that small workshops can be
set up in
