>   PRAYER FOCUS FOR THE WEEK

We will remember in our prayers the members of our P.W.A. and Thursday Women’s Group.

>   PRAYER FOCUS: GALANA, KENYA

Plans are well advanced for the official opening of the school.  The new headmaster of Galana School is young, enthusiastic and has a good reputation in the area, he is also a Christian.  The ceremony is taking place on 15th February with local Government officials and various sponsors from Kenya in attendance, while Derek Roulston, Robin Crockett and Paul Davis will be there to represent PCI.  On the following day (16th), there’s to be an agricultural competition to identify the best bee-keepers, goat-herders and crop-growers in each of the five villages that the project is working with.  Pray that Grenville Hopkinson will cope with all the arrangements for transporting, feeding and accommodating the many people who are expected to come to Galana for this special occasion.  It is a great opportunity to celebrate the way God has blessed so many people through the project and it should attract quite a crowd!  Pray that the Lord will be glorified above all else.  Pray also for safe travel for Derek, Robin and Paul as they travel out to Nairobi on 7th February, and later on when they travel to Galana.
