The second in the series of leadership training conferences on ‘Preaching and the Preacher’ from Ekwendeni Lay Training Centre is being conducted by Robin Quinn and Stephen Bota in Rumphi from 7th to 11th May.  Pray for effective training and that those trained will be able to pass it on in their congregations in the coming weeks.

A CALL FROM THE CONGREGATION OF ROSEMARY TO REV. PHILIP McCREA WAS FORMALLY SUSTAINED BY THE PRESBYTERY OF NORTH BELFAST AT ITS MEETING ON TUESDAY 1ST MAY.  A DELEGATION FROM ROSEMARY, ALONG WITH THE VACANCY CONVENER, THEN TRANSMITTED IT TO THE PRESBYTERY OF TYRONE WHERE IT WAS PLACED IN THE HANDS OF MR McCREA WHO FORMALLY ACCEPTED THE CALL.

 

THE PRESBYTERY OF NORTH BELFAST HAS APPOINTED A COMMISSION OF PRESBYTERY TO CONDUCT THE SERVICE OF INSTALLATION ON WEDNESDAY 27TH JUNE 2007 AT 7.30PM IN ROSEMARY.

^   TAKING CARE CONFERENCE 2007

     Saturday 19th May 2007 at 9.30am – 3.30pm. Church House, Belfast.

This conference is for Ministers, Designated Persons, Deaconesses, Children and Youth Workers, Chaplins, Pastoral Workers, Elders and Committee Members and will give information on new procedures and methods of working with our children and young people attending our church organisations. There will be practical workshops to inform and advise on Child Protection issues, e.g. behaviour, first aid, special needs and insurance. If you woud like to attend please speak to Margaret McGuiggan or Trevor Long.
