>   PRAYER FOCUS: KENYA

The Hopkinson family has been through a difficult and worrying time over the past couple of weeks.  A few days before Christmas, Mum - Georgina and Ollie (aged 2) both developed malaria.  Initially, Georgina didn’t respond to treatment as well as was hoped, so on Christmas Day Grenville decided to take her and Ollie to Hospital in Mombassa (south of Malindi where the family is living).  Once in hospital George and Ollie were quickly given the correct medication.  It’s been a traumatic and exhausting experience for Georgina and Ollie; and for Grenville, as he has struggled to look after the whole family.  Thankfully, Toby (age 5) and Talullah (11 months) have not been affected and seem to be fine.  Pray that the Hopkinson family, will continue on the road to recovery and will get the rest they each need.
