PRAYER FOCUS: We will remember in our prayers our Church Organist and members of the Church Choir.

 

PRAYER FOCUS (PAKISTAN) Christians in Pakistan continue to suffer persecution and they are thankful that they continue to experience God’s protection.  Many Christians have received threatening letters, to convert to Islam or be killed.  Pray for the safety and security of all Pakistani Christians.

 

KIRK SESSION MEETING: Monday 10th Sept at 7.30pm in the McMillan Room.

 

COMMITTEE MEETINGS

Tuesday 11th Sept - 7pm Finance / 8pm Congregational Committee.

 

Could those involved in Fellowship Groups please meet in the Minor Hall at 7.30pm on Wednesday 12th September.

 

There will be a Congregational Prayer Time on Wednesday night at 8.00pm in the Minor Hall.  This will be an opportunity to commit all of our work, in Rosemary, to God in Prayer.

An invitation has been received from Seaview P.W.A. inviting the ladies of Rosemary to their opening meeting on Monday 17th September at 8.00pm in the Upper Church Hall.  This will be a Cookery Demonstration by "Denny’s Bacon".  To assist with catering please advise Peggy Crilly (9071 5003) as soon as possible of your intention to attend.

 

ROSEMARY LUNCH CLUB

The Lunch Club begins on Tuesday 18th September at 12.30pm.  This is a social occasion for anyone who would enjoy a hot meal with company.  We are glad to welcome ladies and men from around the district to share this time of friendship. 

If you could offer help in any between 10.30am and 2.00pm this would also be very much appreciated.

HOLIDAY TO ROCK HOUSE, PORTSTEWART: SAT 13TH /  FRIDAY 19TH OCTOBER

A few places are still available for this holiday to the TBF Thompson Holiday Home in Portstewart.  Anyone interested in going is asked to contact Heather Semple (9085 1210) or Wilbert Bennett (9077 6266) as soon as possible.

 

CRECHE HELPERS NEEDED!

Could you help with the young children on Sunday monrings in the Creche on a rota basis?  Each helper will be paired together with one of the “Mum’s” so if you are slightly inexperienced don’t let this fact put you off helping!  Contact: Heather Gillen 9082 4027.
