PRAYER FOCUS: BOYS BRIGADE

·        Pray for the Anchor Boys, Junior Section and Company Section, as they carry out the programme of physical, mental and spiritual activities, especially for the group of leaders in doing this important work.

·        Pray that the boys will co-operate and gain an interest in what is happening.

PRAYER FOCUS: KENYA

Due to the ongoing insecurity in Kenya, there have been delays in taking forward the footbridge construction project at Galana.  Given these circumstances, Derek and Linda Roulston, and their son Joshua, have returned to Ireland for a time, during which Derek hopes to take the opportunity to visit Honduras, to see a similar bridge building project which is at a more advanced stage of construction.  However, the Cowan and Reid families are able to continue their work in Kenya at this time, as they are in remote locations which have remained largely peaceful throughout the recent disturbances.  Both families currently have visitors with them from Ireland.

Prayer Points:

·        Give thanks for Derek, Linda and Joshua Roulston’s safe arrival back in Ireland.

·        For the continued safety and security of the Cowan and Reid families, and their visitors.

BOXES FOR MALAWI

Now that it is February, in just a few months our organisations will close down for the Summer.  At this time I would like to ask you and your organisation or you and a few friends to “FILL A BOX FOR MALAWI”.  Although we have already been supporting the schools and hospitals in Malawi, the need there is still very great.  We will be sending another container to Malawi in about six or eight weeks time and would be very glad of your help.  Medical and Educational items are shipped in plastic boxes which can be bought from the organisers of “Boxes for Malawi” at a cost of £15 each which covers transportation.  Lists of required items are also available and only these items are accepted for transport.  If you would like to help in this matter or want more information please as me.
