The rains to end so that floodwater will recede and
for the government to finally take long overdue action to improve the city’s
drainage facilities.
·
All victims of the flooding, that they might soon
be able to return to their homes, and for the Indonesian Fellowship of Churches
as they channel practical help to those who need it.
While
the west of the country is suffering from flooding, Timor and Sumba, in the more arid south-east of

That there may yet be sufficient amounts of
rainfall to plant crops, for them to grow well.

partner churches, GMIT and GKS as they seek to provide help and
support to their communities.
