^ PRAYER FOCUS: THAILAND
Thousands of people continue their protest in Bangkok against the Thai government, demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva and calling for new and fair elections to be held. This current round of protests, which started almost a month ago on 12th March, shows no sign of ending, and last week’s talks between the two sides ended with no agreement. Prayer Points:
· That people will remain calm and that a peaceful and just solution will be found to the present conflict.
· For long term reconciliation, that Thailand will once again be united for the common good.
