^   PRAYER FOCUS: INDONESIA

Barry McCroskery’s placement in the GMIT congregation of Galed, which was very valuable in helping him improve his fluency in Indonesian and also in learning about congregational life within GMIT, has now ended.  Barry is enjoying his new role, working in the GMIT Synod Office but he is still awaiting his work visa and, unfortunately, will have to leave Indonesia for a short period of time to obtain a further temporary visa.  The family planned to travel to Singapore on Friday last to obtain the necessary paperwork for Barry (and Rebecca) to re-enter Indonesia on new temporary visas.  Give thanks that Barry is enjoying his work and pray for the situation regarding visas for Barry and Rebecca.  Rebecca has recently been having periodic asthmatic attacks – pray that she will be kept in good health.

WEDNESDAY 15TH JUNE 2005, 7.30pm

Armagh Road Presbyterian Church Portadown

Members travelling by bus, please meet at 6.00pm sharp.

Still a few seats available – contact Wilbert Bennett 9077 6266. (£5.00)

Directions for travelling by car:

..   Follow the M1 west.

..   Leave motorway at Junction 11, signed for Armagh/M12/Portadown.

Keep following signs for Portadown.

..   When you get into Portadown stay in the left lane, neglect the first sign for City Centre (it would take you to the Rail station and Dunnes etc.).

..   Travel another 50 metres or so, to a sort of bendy T-Junction with most lanes heading right towards Armagh.

..   Here you turn left into the left lane, follow the sign for City Centre.

..   Follow the road straight down, it becomes a One Way road down, past the Church of Ireland (St Mark's) on your right hand side.

..   Go slow, because now you need to look for the next possible right turn to do a U-Turn so that you can come back on the One Way Road on the other side of said church.

..   Stay in the left lane and follow the road, which becomes Armagh Road.     Follow Armagh Road (about 200 yards) till you come to a Pedestrian Traffic light, with a Restaurant for sale on your left.

..   Armagh Road Presbyterian is on your right.  It's an old stone building, with a sandstone arch entrance and at least one tree in front of it!

..   Go past it slowly and watch for the right turn into the free town car park 50 metres from the church on your right.  You have arrived!
