========================================

At its meeting on Tuesday 3rd October 2006 the North Belfast Presbytery resolved that the Conveners of all long-term vacancies should stand down as and from the November Presbytery meeting on Tuesday 7th November 2006.  As a result of these changes, Rev. Trevor Gribben, Minister of Whiteabbey, was appointed as the new Convener of the Rosemary Vacancy Commission and Interim Moderator.  We welcome Mr Gribben to Rosemary and trust that, in co-operation with the Kirk Session, he will guide us to a satisfactory conclusion to the vacancy.

We extend our grateful thanks to Rev John Seawright for the way he has led the Session through the various stages of the vacancy so far and for his Pastoral oversight of the congregation during the past two years.  We wish him every blessing in his future Ministry in Abbey.
