Winter is approaching and soon some roads will be closed with snow in the higher regions.  The survivors need shelter, food and medical help.

Food Crisis in Africa

Malawi is suffering an acute shortage of food due to the worst harvest in a decade and failed rains.

YOU CAN HELP … Contributions to the above appeal will be taken today Sunday 13th November (please note this is the last day we can accept money for this appeal).  Use an ordinary blank envelope and mark it, “Moderator’s Special Appeal or Earthquake/Food Crisis Africa” together with your name, amount and Freewill Offering number to assist with Gift Aid claim where appropriate.  Cheques should be made payable to Rosemary Presbyterian Church.  The envelope should be placed on the offering plate.  Church House will then channel these monies through our partners in relief and development, Tearfund and Christian Aid.
