Helen Johnston (Personnel Officer – Overseas) and Tim Mercer (Security Consultant) are visiting a country in Central Asia for meetings with a number of people and organisations there. They left on Wednesday 10^th May and are due home again on Friday 19^th May. Pray for health and safety in travel and throughout their trip. God’s guidance in the details of their itinerary ‘on the ground’ and in the meetings they will have. Pray that they will be able to achieve all that they have planned to do.

UNITED APPEAL “GETTING THINGS DONE TOGETHER”

The Presbyterian Church is committed to a £10m mission programme for 2006. That’s how seriously its members want to follow Christ’s command to tell the whole world about God’s love. The programme is the continuing work of the mission agencies of our Church, providing effective outreach that requires the resources of the whole Church and at the same time supporting congregations in their work and witness at local level.

The next Praise Group rehearsal will be held on Sunday afternoon 21^st May at 3.15pm in the church to prepare for the service on Sunday 28^th May. This will be the last Praise Group led service before the summer break so if you have been meaning to come along and join us this Sunday will be your last opportunity to do so for a couple of months. We would love to see you there!
