MIDWEEK FELLOWSHIP will meet every two weeks – next meeting Wednesday, 24th October at 7.30pm in the Minor Hall.

 

If you would like to be involved in a Fellowship Group please speak to Rev Philip McCrea as soon as possible.  This is an ideal opportunity for those who haven’t been involved before to meet with other Christians fortnightly, for encouragement.

 

PRAYER FOCUS : SUNDAY SCHOOL

·        Pray for the leaders as they prepare their lessons and that they would know a sense of God’s guidance as they communicate God’s truths.

·        Pray for good relationships between teachers and their pupils.

·        Pray that parents will be affected by what the children learn each week.

PRAYER FOCUS : SPAIN

     Derek French will be in Cordoba in southern Spain from 12th to 21st October to take part in a student mission organised by GBU.  Pray for the team of 30 people leading the outreach (including 26 Spanish students) that they would work well together.  Pray also that it would be a great opportunity for learning and sharing their faith and they would be encouraged in their walk with God.

CRECHE ARRANGEMENTS:    Parents of young children, up to age 3, please note on the last Sunday of each month when we have a ‘Contemporary Service’ there will be no official creche, but if it gets too much for the children during the service there will be toys/books available in the choir room for their use!
