> PRAYER FOCUS:
Following the
breakdown of the Maoists’ four-month ceasefire, 38 people were reported killed
when a bus was blown up by a landmine in the southern Chitwan
district last week. This explosion is
the most deadly attack on civilians since the start of the Maoist
insurgency. The bus, packed with
villagers and with more riding on the roof, was completely destroyed. The Maoists later apologised, saying the
intended target of the attack had been the Nepali army. Continue to pray for peace in
