… PRAYER FOCUS: PRAISE GOD
·
Praise God for the hope he gives to us in the
gospel of Christ, in Christ we have new and eternal life.
·
Give thanks to God for the faithful witness of this
congregation in the past.
·
Thank God for the working of His Holy Spirit,
guiding, teaching and empowering His people.
·
Ask God to help us realise our gifts, abilities and
talents and to give us opportunities to use them in serving Christ.
·
Give thanks to God for the many organisations and
the work they do within our Church seeking to serve Christ.
… PRAYER FOCUS: PERSONNEL
A
number of missionary personnel are home over the Christmas period, but most
will be remaining overseas and celebrating Christmas with those they live and
work amongst. Remember those who will
not be home over Christmas. Being
separated from family and friends can be especially difficult at this time of
the year. Pray that they too will know
the Lord’s special blessing and encouragement this Christmas.
