Margaret Young left Northern Ireland last Tuesday to return to St Luke’s Hospital in Chilema, following mid-term break.  Pray for Margaret as she settles back into life and work in Malawi and that she will have many opportunities to share the gospel with patients in the hospital and community.

^   MAINTENANCE OF PROPERTY APPEAL (MARCH 2007)

The past year has been a very busy one!  We have completed the installation of a new heating system in the church halls and now intend to tackle repairs to the church halls roof, together with the necessary on-going maintenance needed to keep our church and halls up to a good standard.  During this month of March we will be taking contributions for our Maintenance of Property Fund.  Literature and envelopes will be delivered to all members of the congregation and we would ask you to give generously.

     A prayer meeting continues to be held in Room C every Friday morning from 8.00am to pray for all aspects of the work in our congregation.  You are encouraged to come and will be very welcome.

 

 

^   WEEKLY PRAYERLINE

     This weekly up-date about the current family life and work of our Overseas Missionary personnel and Board of Mission representatives is available on the League of Church Loyalty table at the back of the church.  There will also be copies outside the Choir Room.  Our missionaries are greatly encouraged by our interest and prayerful support of their needs and Prayerline enables us to do this.

     “THINKING GLOBALLY, ACTING LOCALLY”

     Greenmount College, Antrim

Friday 20th – registration 7.30pm;

Conference commences at 8.30pm

to Saturday 21st April – departure at approximately 8.00pm.

Our aim is to stimulate and encourage mission thinking in a number of areas, particularly for congregations, and to offer some practical insights.

All places at the conference should be booked in advance – so book early!

^   GOSPEL IN CONFLICT – Loving Your Neighbour

     Tuesday 20th March, 8.00pm in Church House, Belfast.

     Speaker: JOEL EDWARDS (Evangelical Alliance General Director)

This exciting new initiative by PCI is a welcome opportunity to reflect on how the Gospel addresses the issues of conflict and peacebuilding in both our culture and church.

11.00am

The morning event is for those in leadership within the Presbyterian Church.  Joel will speak on the biblical challenges of peacebuilding.

8.00pm 

Joel will be speaking again at the open evening event with music, interviews and DVD clips.  Ian Hannah, experienced worship leader (Summer Madness, New Horizon) will lead the praise.

Refreshments and exhibition stands from 7.15pm 

Everyone will be made most welcome.

Notice is hereby given that a meeting of the Congregation of Rosemary will be held in the Church building on Monday 26th March 2007 at 7.30pm to ascertain whether the qualified voters of the Congregation desire to give a call to any Minister; and, if they so desire and if any qualified Minister should have requisite support, to have a Call to such Minister adopted and signed.
