PRAYER – PAKISTAN

The country of Pakistan has been experiencing political uncertainity for the past few weeks.  The President of Pakistan has declared a state of emergency as protests increased against his planned re-election.  The President has announced that planned elections will go ahead in January, however there is much conern that the elections will not be free and fair.  Pray that the state of emergency and the restrictions on freedom in the country will be lifted soon and that poor communities in the country will receive the aid they require.
