>   VACANCY

During the vacancy if you require the services of a Minister, please contact either Rev John Seawright (9085 4572) or Wilbert Bennett (9077 6266).

>   THE VACANCY

The Kirk Session is resuming its task of selecting candidates for the congregation to "hear" as together we continue our quest for a minister.  Accordingly members of the congregation are asked to submit the names of ministers they deem to be suitable candidates for Session to consider.  It would be very helpful and would be much appreciated by Session if the reasons for a nomination were also submitted.  All nominations should be given in writing to the Convener or to Wilbert Bennett, Clerk of Session, by Sunday 1st January.

>   PRAYER FOCUS FOR THE WEEK

We will remember in our prayers the members of the Fellowship Groups.

>   PRAYER FOCUS: MALAWI

The rains that fell in Northern Malawi three weeks ago have not continued; and the rains over the Malawi in general are still very limited.  Good rainfall is now needed urgently right across the country for any hope of the next harvest, due in April 2006.  There is also increasing evidence of hunger throughout the country.  Pray for more rain in sufficient quantity to ensure an abundant harvest.

>   CHRISTIAN IRISHMAN MAGAZINE

From February 2006 the magazine will be called REACHOUT and bi-monthly publication – 6 issues per year, commencing Feb/Apr/June/Aug/Oct/Dec – because of these changes the cost will be £6.00 per year NOT £8.50.
