PRAYER FOCUS: GUIDES, BROWNIES & RAINBOWS

Pray for the leaders in Guides, Brownies and Rainbows as they seek to influence the girls under their care for good and for Christ.  Pray that these organisations would be able to help these girls in their all round development.

PRAYER FOCUS: SUDAN

The situation in Darfur has deteriorated further over the past few months due to the incursion of rebel groups into Chad.  Pray for all those affected; those who have lost loved ones, been injured, made homeless and lost livelihoods as a result of the continuing conflict.

P.C.I. HOME MISSION APPEAL – MAY 2008

During the month of May each year we take our United Appeal Home Mission collection.  Literature and envelopes have been delivered to each household in the congregation.  Please make cheques payable to ‘Rosemary Presbyterian Church’.

SPRING WALKS

This Monday’s walk will start from Hazelbank Car Park at 7pm.

Hope to see you there!

The Church Committee is very grateful to Horace Love, who for many years has opened and closed our premises while the Church Officer is on holiday.  Horace regrets he will no longer be able to fulfill this function.  We are now looking for someone who lives close to the church and would be willing to undertake this role.  If you would be interested in helping with this important part of the life of Rosemary Church, please contact:

Irene Reilly 9080 4064 or Roy Eakin 9036 5119.

Mary Cousins is going to run the ‘RACE FOR LIFE’ at Stormont on 1st June to raise money for CANCER RESEARCH.  She is part of a team with her aunts, Gill Moreton and Louise Kielty.  They hope to raise as much money as possible.  They will be wearing T-Shirts with Sandra’s face on them.  Your financial support would be great and if you can make it on the day to support them then that would be great as well.  The following link has been completed by Gill on behalf of the team:
