PRAYER FOCUS: CRECHE

     Pray that many would use the Creche to enable them to get out to worship.

 

PRAYER FOCUS: DISASTERS & EMERGENCIES – BANGLADESH

     International Aid Agencies, including Christian Aid and Tear Fund, are responding with assistance through local partners after one of the worst cyclones to hit Bangladesh in over thirty years struck on Thursday of last week, affecting millions of people in coastal reigns.  Prayer Points –

·        For all those affected by the cyclone; for those who have lost loved ones, the injured and those who have lost homes and livelihoods.

·        For aid workers and the government of Bangladesh as they try to help those in need.

    

FIRE AWARENESS & DEMO / HEALTH AND SAFETY QUESTIONS ANSWERED!

Leaders of organisations please note a meeting will be held tomorrow MONDAY 26TH NOVEMBER AT 8.00PM in the church halls.  It is very important that at least one member of each organisation attends as this is a requirement by Insurers / Child Protection and Health and Safety.

SUNDAY 2ND DECEMBER – BREAD & CHEESE LUNCH IN THE CHURCH HALLS

     Everyone is invited to come to a “Bread and Cheese Lunch” after the morning service to help support Nicola McWhirter in raising funds for ‘Street Children in Uganda’.

SUNDAY 9TH DECEMBER: FIVE CHURCHES CAROL WALK - Starts at 2.30pm at Fortwilliam Park/McCrory Presbyterian Church walking to St Peter’s Antrim Road, Rosemary Presbyterian Church, Holy Family Church of the Resurrection, and finishing at Cavehill Methodist with a cup of tea at approximately 4.30pm.  At each Church we have a short scripture reading, say a prayer and sing a carol. 

Walk with us or join us in one of the churches – and bring a friend!

 

CITY OF BELFAST YOUTH ORCHESTRA CHRISTMAS CONCERT

     Wednesday 12th December, 7.30pm : Waterfront Hall.

Jill Deacon, a member of our own Rosemary Praise Group, who regularly plays at the front the church with Alyson and other members of the Praise Group will be taking part in this very special Christmas Concert in the Waterfront Hall.  Please come along and support Jill!  The evening will also feature the Youth Chorale and Junior Music Centre of the City of Belfast School of Music. Tickets from Box Office: £10 adult, £5 concession.

 

FORTWILLIAM MUSICAL SOCIETY – 30 YEARS OF MUSIC!

PRESBYTERIAN WOMEN’S BREAKFAST

North Belfast Presbytery are planning a Women’s Breakfast to be held in Corr’s Corner Hotel on Saturday 2nd February at 8.30am.  The invitation for this unique event is for all women in the congregations of North Belfast, not just for members of PWA.  This is an excellent opportunity for women of all ages to meet for a time of friendship and fellowship.  Lynn Murray will share some thoughts on “Using your Gifts” and the event will finish at 10.15am.  The cost will be £8.  If you are interested in attending, contact Peggy Crilly on 90715003 as soon as possible.

 

PCI BOARD OF MISSION OVERSEAS – TEAM TO UKRAINE 2008

     All age team (no upper age limit!) to go to Ukraine for two weeks in July 2008.
