PRAYER FOCUS: ORGANIST, PIANIST, CHOIR & PRAISE GROUP

Pray that God will use Billy, Isabel, the Choir, Alyson and the Praise Group to lead us in our worship each Sunday.  Also pray that our worship will truly glorify God as well as being meaningful and relevant.

PRAYER FOCUS: KENYA

PCEA is continuing with its initiative to preach peace and reconciliation in the aftermath of the continuing unrest in Kenya.  Clergy and evangelists are visiting those constituencies worst hit by the violence to help restore unity among the people.  Many hundreds of PCEA members have fled their homes due to the unrest and seven PCEA church buildings have been destroyed.

     Prayer Points:

·        That all rallies and protests will be peaceful.

·        For restraint among those who are angry and feel there is great injustice in the election result.

·        That the Kenyan political leaders will agree to talk together.

·        For wisdom and guidance for PCEA ministers.

Plans for a footbridge across the Galana River are coming on well and this week it is hoped that the structures of the bridge will be pegged out and the design finalised.

Prayer Points:

·        That unrest will not hinder the engineer’s travel arrangements – he’s flying in for this exercise.

·        Give thanks that Laura-Jayne and Amy Roulston have settled back well into school in Dublin.
