TODAY, SUNDAY 28th OCTOBER 2007:

CRECHE - Parents of young children, up to age 3, please note on the last Sunday of each month when we have a ‘Contemporary Service’ there will be no official creche, but if it gets too much for the children during the service there will be toys/books available in the choir room for their use!

 

We will be taking givings for the United Appeal (Overseas’ Mission) work in the Presbyterian Church in Ireland during October. Please give generously as you return your envelope.

MIDWEEK FELLOWSHIP - Wednesday, 7TH November at 7.30pm in the Minor Hall.

 

PRAYER FOCUS : P.W.A. - Pray that the ladies will be bound together in their commitment to Jesus Christ and that they would be able to help other women ‘Come and See’ who Jesus really is.

 

PRAYER FOCUS : MALAWI - Una Brownlie continues her work as Nurse Midwife at the David Gordon Memorial Hospital (DGMH) in Livingstonia.  There is a great need for additional qualified staff, especially for a medical doctor for the hospital and for staff for the Lakeshore Health Centres at Luwuchi, Mlowe, Zunga and Tcharo.  Praise God for the on-going recovery of Rev Ted Mwambira, Chairman of the Synod Health Board, who was injured recently in a car accident also for a full recovery for Sarah, a 6 year old girl who was admitted to DGMH’s paediatric ward some four months ago with severe burns.  Robin and Helen Quinn’s daughter Deborah is getting married in Malawi on 31st October – pray that this will be a very special time of blessing for the family.

 

P.W.A. BOXES - Box Opening Evening this year will be on Tuesday 6th November at 7.45pm.  The speaker will be Zena McAllister (India Revisted).  If possible please arrange to open your box at home, count the money, and bring  cheque payable to “Rosemary Presbyterian Church” with you on the 6th November, or if you are unable to attend give your donation to any member of the P.W.A.

ROSEMARY LUNCH CLUB takes place every Tuesday at 12.30pm.  We are hoping to be able to welcome new diners from Oldpark.  Transport can be offered to anyone within approximately 2 miles away. 

This Lunch Club is open to older people from the local community.
