PRAYER FOCUS: KIRK SESSION

Pray that the Elders will be strong in God’s grace as they fulfil the role God has given them and that they will be able to apply the word of God in situations in which they are to minister.

 

 

PRAYER FOCUS: TIBET

Remember in your prayers the conflict between Tibet and China.  Pray for all those who have suffered and that the situation may come to a peaceful resolution.

 

MEMBERS OF P.W.A. reminded of outing for meal on Tuesday 1st April to Wynfield House at Parkgate, time 6.30 for 7 p.m.

 

FRIDAY BIBLE CLUB UGANDA NIGHT

Last year, with your help, the Friday Bible Club raised money for Nicola McWhirter to take to Uganda last summer.  Nicola has kindly agreed to come back to Bible Club on FRIDAY 4TH APRIL to tell us all about her adventure so why not come along and find out all about the trip and how the money has been spent.  Everyone is very welcome to attend Friday 4th April, 6.30 – 7.30pm in the Minor Hall.  We will even provide you with a cup of tea and a bun!

 

SPRING WALKS

Need to shed a few pounds or walk off those Easter eggs?  Then why not join us at 7pm on Monday night at Hazelbank carpark for a walk along the loughshore.  We hope to come up with a regular walking programme over the next couple of months so let us know your favourite walking spot in the city and we will include it in the programme.

Care for the Family are organising an evening for dads on Tuesday 15th April in Carnmoney Presbyterian Church from 7.30pm to 10.00pm.

Tickets will cost £6.00 and the speaker will be John Richard Hardy.

 

BANNER NORTHERN IRELAND are organising an evening on Friday 18th April, for those who are 15+ to find out more about the Christian Faith.  The cost will be £5.00 and it starts at 5.45pm in Stranmillis College.  The speakers will be Liam Goligher and John Woodside.
